Side Income Coaching for Christians: Earn extra money, start a simple side business, entrepreneurship
The go-to podcast for Christians who want to start and grow a fun and meaningful part-time side business. Hey, I’m Vicky Arsenault and I spent much of my life being terrible at managing my money, racking up debt, and struggling to get by. It wasn’t until I was in my 30’s that I started to realize living that way was robbing me of joy and peace, so I began to make changes by budgeting and starting a side business. I made money, but dealt with a lot of guilt around charging people. I constantly struggled with the thought that I was being materialistic or choosing money over God, so my growth was stunted. It wasn’t until my 40’s that I REALLY learned how to do business God’s way, and now in my 50’s, I’m teaching others how to break through twisted Christian mindsets that keep many would-be entrepreneurs stuck. On this show, I’ll give you loads of tips and strategies I’ve learned along the way so you can create financial freedom WHILE making other people’s lives better. If you’re tired of just getting by, listen in to learn how to build steady side income as a coach, consultant or local service provider. I’ll talk about things like: *How to stop living paycheck to paycheck *Easy budgeting tips *How to monetize your skills and experience *How to earn extra money on the side in your community *How to start a side business from home *Side income ideas for beginners to earn money fast *How to earn extra money even if you’re not good with technology *Christian entrepreneurship *Biblical mindset for money *The best ways to find customers You can also download my free guide where I share 10 tips to help you kickstart your side income at https://sideincomeguide.com

33: You've got gifts, but don't get cocky! Lessons from the story of Samson
Tuesday Jul 20, 2021
Tuesday Jul 20, 2021
Samson had a call on his life. God gave Samson supernatural strength as long as his hair was never cut.
Unfortunately, Samson’s pride, ego, or Delilah’s incessant nagging caused him to give up the secret to his strength. As a result he became powerless until the day he repented and asked God for one more chance. (Read Judges Chapters 13-16)
God has also given YOU natural and supernatural abilities. In this episode, I ask you a few questions to help you identify your God-given gifts, and to discover what things could leave you powerless.
When you can identify these things, you have a greater chance of walking in victory.

Tuesday Jul 13, 2021
In this episode, I'm sharing a few takeaways I've had while reading though Proverbs this month.

31: You are accepted "as is" and God doesn't consider you a lemon
Tuesday Jul 06, 2021
Tuesday Jul 06, 2021
In this episode, I thought I'd encourage you with a little bit of my personal testimony.
Some things I experienced left me feeling like I had no value, and because of that, I ended up making some less than stellar choices.
But, God showed up and taught me how to have a voice that I didn't have when I was younger.
Now, it's my mission to encourage and inspire others not to live in a place of contempt for themselves. I hope this helps set you free.

29: A man, a whale, and a serving of forgiveness
Tuesday Jun 22, 2021
Tuesday Jun 22, 2021
A couple weeks ago, a man in Massachusetts was swallowed by a whale.
It reminds me of the story of Jonah. God told him to do some thing, so instead of doing that, he went in the other direction and caused all kinds of issues in other people’s lives. When he was finally obedient, he was angry at God for being good and forgiving.
Tune in to hear the story and find out if you and I might have a similar pattern. Also, July 1-31 is the Proverbs Challenge!

A couple days ago, my stepson shared something with me that he heard at a church service. “An apple tree is still an apple tree even when it’s not bearing fruit.”
It made me think about who we all are in the body of Christ.
In this episode, we’re going to look at a few scriptures that will help us embrace who God created us to be. It’s pretty epic!

24: What my ugly shower taught me about being a Christian
Tuesday May 18, 2021
Tuesday May 18, 2021
In this episode, I’ll share about how our home renovations mirror our internal renovations.
It reminds me of how people that don’t know us well see all of the awesome things about us. People close to us see more of the “real” us, the good, the bad, and ugly.
But, sometimes, what we see in ourselves it’s just the ugly because we are the closest to us.

23: Do you feel like a second-rate Christian?
Tuesday May 11, 2021
Tuesday May 11, 2021
Before you became a Christian, God loved you. After you became a Christian, God loved you. His love for you never changes. In this episode, we're going to eliminate the idea that you are a second-rate Christian. You are always a first-class citizen, yup, even though you aren't perfect.

22: Your journey can take 11 days or 40 years. Which do you prefer?
Tuesday May 04, 2021
Tuesday May 04, 2021
In today's episode, I'm sharing about how the Israelites wandered for 40 years on a journey that should have taken around 11 days.
My question for you is
Have you been wandering?
Have you been stuck because of fear?
Fear keeps many of us from answering the call God has on our lives. Don't let "40 years" pass by when the journey is only 11 days long.

In this week's episode, I'll be sharing about
how we are so like the Israelites who were whining and complaining after God took them out of slavery.
how we can look back and romanticize the crappy times in our lives when we compare it to where we are now.
and how God provides for us, but we still try to add on to it and take more than we need.
Has God been nudging you to faith your fears and use the gifts He's given you to start a side biz that could help others?
Maybe you're stuck because you don't know what business you could start, or maybe you don't know how to run a business. I've got you covered! Visit www.vickyarsenault.com

Tuesday Apr 20, 2021
Tuesday Apr 20, 2021
Can you imagine what it was like when God told Moses to go speak to Pharaoh? And then Moses said "No."
In this episode, we'll be looking at Exodus and maybe comparing (just a little bit) how Moses responded to God's call on his life with how WE respond to God's call on our lives.
This should be fun! :)

1 John 2:27 says that the Spirit already lives within you so you don’t need anyone to teach you what is true.
You may call it intuition, a gut feeling, or something else, but that’s the Holy Spirit speaking to you. How cool is it that we have such an amazing relationship with God?! I
n this episode, I’ll be sharing how to tap into that relationship more and trust it. Find me on Facebook and Instagram @coachvickyarsenault www.vickyarsenault.com
